I found a Montrose Police Department business card at my front door this morning, as I’m sure several of you did. While I don’t know all of the details, I did contact the Montrose Police Department and they described an event that occurred this morning (8/1) at 12-12:30am involving either an attempted or successful break in on Galaxy Drive where 3 young adults were attempting to make entry into car and house doors. If anyone finds any evidence of this occurrence on your security cameras, please promptly contact Officer Tyler Cunningham (Officer #005102) at Montrose Police Department (970-252-5200) referencing Case #24-018647 with any information/camera footage that may be helpful in locating these individuals. Also serving as a friendly reminder to please lock your car and home doors at night for your safety!
