Reminder to clean up after your pets

Reminder to clean up after your pets

We have had reports from homeowners that dog poop is being left behind in their front yards. I, too, have noticed this issue getting worse. This can be frustrating when you have spent time and money landscaping only to have it crapped on. We feel your pain! This is a reminder to please show respect for your neighbor’s lawns and yards by cleaning up after your pets. As a pet owner, I take a plastic baggie dispenser with me, so I am ready to clean it up when my dog decides to go. Here is a link to a little baggie dispenser I have used.

We are aware there is some transient dog walking traffic from adjacent neighborhoods and the increase in poo could be from the new bear creek connection.

I just want to chime in and also ask that folks walking their dogs/pets please keep their animals from coming onto neighbors grass areas on their properties. We have seen on our camera several folks walking their dogs and allowing them to urinate in our grass. When they pee on the grass, it kills the grass and when you’ve spent thousands of dollars on your landscaping, you want to keep your property looking as good as it did when it was first installed. We would really appreciate it guys! Thank you for the post, Dakota! 🙂
