Back in May, we took survey of how many neighbors may be interested in participating in a community yard sale – we received 6 responses total (5 yes, 1 no). These responses were anonymous, so we’re now reaching out to make contact with the neighbors who responded “yes” in order to move forward with this event. Of the interested parties, we are also requesting for someone or an informal committee to take the lead and organize this yard sale (choose date/time, advertise as needed, make signs). Each homeowner will be responsible for his/her own belongings, price tags, and setup/cleanup. The HOA will provide funding for the committee to put an ad in the local daily press newspaper to help spread the word. Please RSVP to and indicate interest in helping to organize this event by emailing board@stargatehoa.com. Once RSVPs are received, the board will gladly get those neighbors in contact with one another via email to further organize this event.
