As a reminder, please be sure to retrieve your trash and recycling containers from the street promptly after collection. Containers should only be on the street on collection day. The covenants state in section 3.2 subsection B, that “All containers shall be kept within garages or enclosed backyards so as to not be visible from a neighboring property, except to make the same available for collection during regular trash collection days.”
When a federal holiday occurs on a Monday or if the City decides to observe the holiday on a Monday, our trash pickup day will be on Wednesday. The following day will be for recycling if it’s a recycling week. More information can be found on the City of Montrose website here.
