Homeowners, we need your help! We have had multiple vehicle break-ins on Galaxy Dr. The first report was from 12-28-2021, the most recent report was last night 1-19-2022 1:05 am. The homeowners affected have reached out to the HOA and asked for our help as a community to catch the thief as this has now occurred twice. Many of you have ring doorbells and cameras installed on your homes. Please review your footage from last night around the 1 am hour. The following link is to the footage we have been able to post on Neighbors so far from several angels and different homes in Stargate. What we know is that the hooded figure broke into 2 vehicles on the westmost end of Galaxy Dr. The thief then walks east down the street to get into the passenger side of a Subaru Outback parked close to Milky Way Ln and then the driver flees the scene. There are 2 individuals involved from what we can tell be the footage so far.

Update for you all. @crystalc was able to confirm that the Subaru driver involved in the vehicle break-ins from 1-19-22 was apprehended and they hope to get more information on the whereabouts of the cohort involved. Thank you to everyone who contributed footage and information that lead to the arrest. Our community is a little safer tonight. A big thank you to the Montrose PD for the swift response to the incident.
