It’s almost February and spring is right behind it. Many of you will be looking to install your landscaping for the first time while others may be hoping to improve their existing landscaping. Whatever your situation may be, you are required to submit your plan to the HOA for approval before you break ground. We have a detailed landscaping section in our architectural guidelines listed here on the website, that can be used to help give you an idea of what is required and what is not allowed. Keep in mind also that the HOA has 30 days to approve or deny your plan. Pro-tip, if your plan meets all guidelines and you have used the online form it will be approved quickly. This is because the online form asks you specific questions related to our guidelines allowing us to streamline the back and forth communication on getting you your approval letter so you can start your landscaping project without delay. You may see homes with front yards that don’t meet guidelines. This is a by-product of homeowners installing their landscaping without HOA approval. Those homeowners have faced fines or have been forced to alter their landscaping to meet the guidelines. It’s very important that you read the guidelines and submit your plan for HOA approval.
We look forward to working with you all this year and wish you all a prosperous 2022!
